This workshop is a part of CRAFT’s Maker in Residence program. Jayashree Iyengar, owner of Popping Mustard Seeds is completing a residency this Fall.
Join us for a virtual cook-along one pot Indian dish workshop. The participants will make kichadi, a one pot dish using rice, lentils (legumes) and vegetables with a blend of aromatic spices and raita to go with it. Kichadi, a tasty and wholesome dish, is a staple in many parts of India and especially eaten in cooler climates. Your flavorful warm lunch will be ready at the end of the class with a tasty raita (made with yogurt) to go with it.
Participants will be provided with a shopping list and prep list one week before the class!
