Idli, Dosa, & Chutney

  • Chatham University Eden Hall Campus 6035 Ridge Road Gibsonia, PA, 15044 United States (map)

Join us for a hands-on Idli, Dosa, and Chutney making workshop! Idlis and dosas are typically eaten for breakfast in Southern India, but can be eaten as a treat any time of day. Local chef Jayashree Iyengar of Popping Mustard Seeds will demonstrate the technique to prepare the idli and dosa batter, and lead participants in making this delicious Indian dish. Jay will also teach participants to make two types of flavorful chutneys to eat with them.

Each participant will leave with their own idli maker to continue making idlis at home!

This will be an in-person class. Chatham University’s current policy states that mask-wearing is required indoors, regardless of vaccination status.

Refunds will be issued up to 48 hours before the class.

Chatham Alumni receive a 10% discount! Use code ALUMNI at checkout.
