Do you have a great idea for a food business and don’t know how to turn your dream into a reality? This 6-week program will help any aspiring food business owner begin their business journey. Topics include how to formally start your business, marketing, and branding, how to distribute and sell your product, and more. This course is ideal for anyone thinking about starting a restaurant, catering company, food product, or food service (meal planning, nutrition, etc.) business.
This 6-week program will be offered as a hybrid: the first and last sessions (September 27 and November 1) will be in-person at Chatham Eastside (6585 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206), and the rest of the sessions will be online via Zoom. The program is capped at 25 participants.
Required: Zoom capable device and internet access to participate.

Week Two: Marketing and branding
Week Three: Online presence
Week Four: Your product or service.
Week Five: Finances and raising capital
Week Six: Business planning and elevator pitch
