The Food Lover’s Elective: A CRAFT Conversation Series is back every Tuesday in July as graduate students and community experts converse about topics related to food and everyday life.

This Week’s Episode:

Imagine your favorite lunch from your school aged years. Have you ever thought about how that food got onto your tray - as in who bought it, how they made sure it was nutritious enough for you, and what values did they navigate to buy it in the first place? Sit down with us as we chat with guest speaker Malik Hamilton, the Purchasing Supervisor for Pittsburgh Public Schools Food Service! We're going to talk about what it means to buy food in an institutional setting but also explore how we can all be agents of change in the larger food system.
