Tiara Andress
Tiara Andress is the Academic Director for the Culinary Arts Program at Northeastern Technical College in Cheraw, South Carolina. She's originally from Amory, Mississippi. Tiara is developing and writing curriculum for the Culinary Arts Program along with the Food Truck Operations Certifications at the college. She is a Chatham Alum and a Professional Chef; She completed her Masters in Food Studies (May 2015) and since then has explored all sectors of the food industry with academic and professional authority. Before joining Northeastern Technical team, she worked as Chef De Partie for National Geographic/ Linblad Expeditions where she cooked and traveled around the world. Tiara is passionate about food sovereignty, food access, food nutrition, and the appropriate representation in the academic environment and diversity/inclusion in the Culinary Industry.
