Business Support & Education Program Manager

Abi Kapelewski (she/her) spent the beginning of her career in the community development sector of Pittsburgh's East End. At Bloomfield Development Corporation, Abi managed the Bloomfield Saturday Market during the pandemic. During her most recent role as the Business District and Communications Manager at Lawrenceville Corporation, Abi continued to shape the local landscape with her thoughtful and empathetic approach.

Abi considers herself fortunate to have spent her career embedded in neighborhoods, particularly in the joyous spaces of business districts and farmers markets. Abi is eager to expand her expertise and direct her focus back towards supporting food producers and contributing to the resilience of our food system.

Abi also enjoys cooking, reading, attending local shows, and hanging out with her bearded dragon, Skizzy.
